EPCOM GLOBAL NETWORKS TERMS

PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy notice outlines practices pertaining to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you interact with our website and use our telecommunications services.

By using our website or accepting our services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy, which also applies to information collected by our parent company, Epcom Global Networks. We are committed to protecting your privacy and fortifying the security of your personal information.

COLLECT INFORMATION

ABOUT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Epcom Global Networks is dedicated to providing and enhancing our services, which necessitates the collection of various types of information. We collect information for the optimal functioning of our website and to deliver a seamless experience when you use our diverse voice and data products and services. This comprehensive approach to collecting information allows us to continually improve our offerings and tailor them to your specific needs.

TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information we collect falls into several categories, including Personal Data, Usage Data, and data gathered through cookies. Personal Data may include your email address, first and last name, phone number, physical address, and, for VoIP customers, Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI). Usage Data encompasses your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, pages visited on our website, and other diagnostic data. Cookies, which are small files stored on your device, also contribute to the information we collect to personalize your experience.

PURPOSE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION

The information we collect is primarily used to provide and enhance both our website and the telecommunications services you order. Personal Data is crucial for delivering ordered services, including billing and customer support. For voice services, your phone number and physical location may be transmitted to route 9-1-1 calls to the appropriate emergency center, and telephone numbers dialed are used to complete and bill for calls, shared with other service providers as necessary and required by law. We may also use your Personal Data to send you newsletters, marketing materials, and other information of interest, while Usage Data helps us maintain the website, provide customer support, and detect technical issues for the continuous improvement of our products and services.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

DEFINITION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal Data, or personal information, encompasses any data about a living individual who can be identified from that information, either in our possession or likely to come into our possession. This also includes personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify users, such as your name, email address, or phone number. A crucial aspect of this is Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI), which specifically relates to the quantity, technical configuration, type, destination, location, and amount of use of telecommunications or Voice over IP (VoIP) Service to which a user subscribes. CPNI also includes information made available solely by virtue of the provider-customer relationship, as well as details found in bills for telephone exchange or toll service, all of which fall under our comprehensive data privacy and privacy protection measures.

HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

Epcom Global Networks diligently uses personal information, including Personal Data, primarily to provide the telecommunications services you have ordered, for accurate billing processes, and for comprehensive customer support.

For voice services, when 9-1-1 is dialed, your phone number and the physical location entered for the device are securely transmitted to route and complete the call to the appropriate emergency call center for rapid response.Telephone numbers dialed are used to complete and bill for calls, and that information is meticulously transmitted to other carriers or service providers as necessary to complete calls and comply with applicable laws.

We may also use Personal Data to contact users with newsletters, marketing, or promotional materials, and other information of interest pertaining to our products and services. If UC apps are downloaded and permission is granted to access contacts, the app will access contact information to facilitate placement, receipt, and identification of calls, texts, or other communications using the Service. The CPNI on file may be used to provide information about communications-related products and services or special promotions, always adhering to our privacy practices.

SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Epcom Global Networks maintains a strict policy pertaining the sharing of personal information and will not sell the information contained in your user contacts, nor will we use your contacts for marketing purposes.

Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) may be shared with independent contractors, suppliers, vendors, or agents, but only for the express purpose of providing information about communications-related products and services or special promotions. CPNI may be disclosed without your consent when required by law or court order, to protect our rights and property, to protect against fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use of services, for directory listings, to provide services (including essential customer support), and to bill for services. If services were purchased through a reseller, Epcom Global Networks and the reseller will share CPNI as necessary for seamless customer support.
